The Rozenblat family has long tradition of charity and aid activity.
Jakub Rosenblatt was, among other things, an honourable president of the Lodz Jewish Charity Association - the first charity institution with a legal personality,
member of the Temple Supervisors dealing with elementary schools at the end of 19th century; he was also an initiator and one of the founders of the School of Crafts
intended for children from poor families and orphans, president and curator of the Lodz Jewish Association Aiding the Orally and Aurally Challenged "Ezras Ilmin",
member of the Management of the "House of the Poor". The Rosenblatt family was also considerably involved, also financially in the organisation of holidays for Jewish children from poor families.
The objective of our Foundation is to continue the family traditions of acting for the benefit of those in need and of the local community.
